AX/4000 systems have a complex licensing structure. If you’re interested to buy any parts or systems, please let us
know your requirements, and we’ll work with you to find what you need.
Here’s some information
which could help make a decision. We’ll
answer your questions regarding the AX/4000 to the best of our knowledge, but
we don’t know things like how various telecommunications protocols actually
work. J
1)
What software version are you currently using?
2)
What types of interfaces do you use currently and/or intend to add?
(DS1,E1,Gbic,100Base-T,OC12, etc.)
3)
Do you need ATM, Frame Relay, Ethernet, IPv6 protocols?
4)
For the G/A, can you use a 155MBps V2, 1Gbps, 1Gbps mAX IP (IP enhanced),
2.488Gbps, 10Gbps? (This can be the budget buster).
5)
Do you need a portable chassis, rackmount chassis, or card(s) only?
6)
Do you need “Extended” licenses such as DHCP, DNS, etc.? These were introduced with more recently and
are rare on the secondary market.
We take your AX/4000
requirements seriously. Please email us
